Professor Fermin

Fermin is one of the most experienced and qualified Judo practitioners in Australia.
He has been a player, coach, instructor and mentor for 50 years having originated from Cuba where Judo is regarded as a way of life, not a past-time or a side-sport.

Qualifications

  • Roku (6th) Dan, International Judo Federation

  • Bachelor's of Physical Education, Speciality in Judo, Cuba

  • AFP Police Clearance

Coach Stephanos

Stephanos is the head coach and the driving force behind Olympia Judo Club. His approach to coaching and leading a dojo (club) is founded by his strict adherence to the fundamentals of Judo where the development of the person is as important as the competitive results they may achieve.

  • Yon Dan Kodokan

  • Bachelor's Degree of Physical Education and Science, Athens Greece (recognised by Australian Government)

  • International Judo Federation Coach Level 2

  • National Level Kata and Grading Black Belt Examiner JA

  • National Level referee - JA

Instructor Adrian

Adrian Georgiadis is an Olympia Judo Club instructor and an active competitor and referee. Adrian assists with our junior Judo lessons and enjoys teaching with passion and care. Adrian is a kind, genuine and true friend of Olympia’s family.

Coach Craig

Craig Johnson is an Olympia Judo Club instructor and an active member of the managing committee. Craig assists with most Judo lessons and enjoys teaching the young and young at heart. We are privileged to have this kind, genuine and true friend among Olympia’s family.
